$3 Train Ride and 7 Mile Buckeye Trail Hike - INTERMEDIATE to Advanced

Intermediate to Advanced - CVNP Hike Aboard!

Climb aboard Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad for a one-way ride followed by a challenging 7-mile hike back along the hilly, unpaved Buckeye Trail to our cars. Fee: $3 per hiker – payable on the train.

Train leaves promptly from Brecksville Depot at 10:10AM

Parking by the train station.  Dogs are NOT allowed on the train.

This is an intermdiate to advanced, spring hike - depending upon speed, elevations, steps, and mud terrain on any given day.  Please make sure you have treads on your boots, and good ankle support.  Bring water and a trail snack.

This hike is sponsored by the CVNP Service.  CVNP Ranger Pamela will be leading the hike.  CVNP is good about getting a 10 minute break(s) in the middle of the hike back to Brecksville Depot Station.

If you are new to this hiking group, please let me know so we can look for you, and include you.  There will be 25+ hikers that are not members of our group.  We want to make sure you feel welcomed!  Questions/Text to cell -[masked]

1:00PM - Optional Restaurant  - TBD

It was a perfect day for hiking - and the mud just added to the experience! Thank you all for coming. FYI - I was not the last one in the group - two 16 year olds were slower than me. Jane & Alex - nice pictures!

Muddy but a beautiful day to hike. Only bad thing was the group got split up at the end and five of us had to find out way back on our own.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
