Hike Ledges, Lake and Salt Run Trails

We will hike the Ledges Trail, the connector trail to Kendall Lake, take the Lake Trail and Salt Run trails, then complete the Ledges trail for about 6.5 miles.  This is a moderate to strenuous hike due to hills and pace.  If you don't know the trail, please let me know before the hike begins, we don't always stop and wait for slower hikers.  Hiking time about 2 - 2.5 hours.

As always hike at your own risk.

Lunch afterwards, place to be determined.

Hi John, I see you found your I don't remember hearing your voice in the parking lot introducing yourself, or asking who the trip leader was. Why, I met several people today I haven't hiked with before. One of them is going to the Grand Canyon. Maybe we brought different attitudes with us to the parking lot today. Mine seemed to work OK. BTW you missed an excellent hike. 8 miles! My knees are shot!

I'd prefer less pace in order to enjoy the scenery and company. It's not a race!

FYI, we will hike from the Octagon clockwise on the Ledges trial, continue down the stairs to Pine Grove trail and take the connector trial to the road, cross the road and take the Lake trail clockwise to Salt Run and take Salt Run clockwise, finish the Lake trail, cross the road, go right on Pine Grove, then straight and finish the Ledges heading left at the bottom of the ledges to finish the Ledges trail clockwise. Are you lost yet? I think this will be closer to 7.5 miles. I you wish to do a shorter hike, that is an option.
