Brecksville Nature Center Evening Hike

Tuesday evening hike via the Deerlick Cave Trail.  Distance: Approx. 4.5 miles 

Rating: Intermediate due to speed and Hills- Pace: 3.3 MPH

Dogs - Leashed dogs are welcome.

Hike - Start from Brecksville Nature Center up hill to Chippewa Creek Gorge Scenic Overlook, then circle back down Hemlock Trail then cut bak across past the pavillion to the  Nature Center then down Deerlick. 

Directions: From I-77 take Exit 149 (SR 82); east on SR 82 past Brecksville Rd. (SR 21) in Brecksville; right on Chippewa Creek Dr. at park entrance; continue past Meadows Dr. to parking area for Brecksville Nature Center, on right.

Afterward, Creekside (Tuesday is discount wine night!)

    And Vlad - it was a book club, not the library. The Language of Flowers was the book - - and now we have more knowledge about the flowers we will see on the trails.

    Was my first time, and enjoyed it especially at night. Looking forward to the nature path next time. Pavement was good for my first time though.

    Kelly, yes this is a paved trail. Still need flashlights, great for a brisk walk. Just don't have to worry about tripping over tree roots that I always seem to find!
