Hike the Ledges and Pine Grove Trails

This hike, located in the town of Boston Heights, is one of Cuyahoga Valley National Park's most interesting areas due to its spectacular sandstone ledges. It takes us to Ice Box Cave and Ritchie Ledges, Happy Days Visitor Center, and the Pine Grove Trail. There are several hills and steps to climb on this hike.

We will meet at the Happy Days Lodge Parking Lot off Rt 303 at 2:00 (follow the sign for the parking area which is across the street from the Lodge).  For those who come late, we will be hiking the 2 loops in a counter clockwise direction.

PLEASE NOTE - This parking lot is 2 miles EAST of Peninsula.  If you use GPS, make sure you enter 500 West 303 or you'll end up in Richfield (about 5 miles West of the parking lot).

Distance: about 5 miles

Rating: Moderate

Leashed dogs are welcome

kids are welcome

After the hike, we will be meeting at the Winking Lizard in downtown Peninsula at approximately 4:00 for food and spirits!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
