Are you looking for dog friendly hikes?

I occasionally dog sit, so yes, an occasional hike with dogs would allow me to bring the little dog.

We will be having hikes for different ability levels, what ability level do you feel you fit in? Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced?

Not sure what qualifications an "advanced" hiker requires, but I'm definitely an intermediate and can have no problems keeping up with many of CVNP hike "strenous" or "experienced" rated hikes.

What are your favorite hiking spots?

Just took up hiking last year, but did a lot of hiking in both Lake County and CVNP and enjoyed CVNP becuase they challenged me more.

What Deanne D. is saying about this Meetup Group

The hike was okay. I was drawn to this hike because it was rated moderate to strenous and that it was approximately 9.5 miles. However, there were several new hikers and the group's pace was very slow. Dogs were unleashed and running around getting under people's feet and wasn't very safe in a couple of settings. I would like to have picked up the pace and not stop so often.
