Northeast Ohio Kayakers, known as NEOK, offers a way for paddling enthusiasts of all ages, abilities and interests to get together for fun on the water. Flat water kayaking and canoeing are some of the fastest-growing hobbies in Northeast Ohio and all over America.
NEOK is a way to introduce people to this fun, green, and affordable sport.
Our group provides a common ground for sharing information, ideas, and good judgment, and promoting the safe enjoyment of the sport. Since NEOK was formed in February 2011, the work of co-organizers and members has enabled over 200 kayakersand canoeists to have benefited from our terrific club.
Most of our activities involve kayaking rivers, small lakes, and enjoying special events hosted by its own members.
Sea kaykers, river runners and canoeists are all welcome to join in the fun. Activities have included trips and expeditions down major water area like the upper, middle and lower Cuyahoga, Chagrin River, Rocky River, Mohican River, Black River, Vermilon River and the Tuscarawas.
