Pancake Breakfast and Hike

Celebrate Purim by joining us for some nice, sweet maple syrup on an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the Century Village Museum, Burton Ohio.

We'll be meeting at the entrance to the Century Village breakfast at 11:00 a.m.

Century Village Museum is located at: 14653 East  Park Street, Burton, Ohio.

If you would like to carpool, meet near the Starbucks at Village  Square Shopping  Center at 10:20 a.m.  Mindy will not be there so make sure you let
us know you plan to carpool so we know people are there.

To get to the Century Village Museum, follow Rt 87 east (Rt 87 is Chagrin at the Village Square location) 19 miles to the Burton Village Square.  Century Village is on the southeast side of the square.

The pancake breakfast website is http://centuryvillagemuseum.org/events

Breakfast will be $7.00 for pancakes.  There is a small upcharge to add an omelet to your meal.  In addition, those who are not paid MOSAIC members will be charged a $2 non-member fee.

After breakfast, we will take a short hike at the Burton Wetlands Nature Preserve, 15681 Old Rider Road, Burton Township.

Website:  http://www.geaugaparkdistrict.org/parks/burton.shtml

To get there from breakfast:  Go back to Rt 87 West to Rt 44.  Turn left, taking Rt 44 South approx 1 mile to Burton Heights  Blvd.  Turn left and follow Burton Heights Blvd approx 1 mile around the curve to Old Rider Road.  Cross Hotchkiss Road and travel 1 mile to the park entrance on the east side of the road.

Please RSVP to Mindy Tumarkin at 440/942-8030.  Just before
the event, you may reach her at 216/849-5681.

Remember to dress appropriately for hiking.  That includes comfortable hiking shoes, hats/gloves (as weather dictates), and water.
