Who we are: NEPA Moms Circle is a local group for area mothers and their infants/toddlers who are looking to meet for playdates and other kid-friendly/family activities and to provide support, especially for new and first-time moms. This group is a great way for moms and kids to meet, have fun, share information, and form new friendships.

This is a no-pressure group: During all of the meetings, you are free to feed, change, or soothe your baby by any means. No need to worry if your babe is fussy, or you haven't fed outside of the house. We understand that it's an accomplishment just to be out. Sit and relax with your baby. This is a time to share stories, tips and frustrations of early motherhood in the company of other mothers.

The group is open to all moms and their infants and toddlers in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. The group will meet at least once a month for playdates and other events and activities - and likely much more than that. We aim to plan meet ups that work for both stay-at-home and working moms. Ideas for fun events and activities are welcome!

Dues: After you have attended a meet up or two, membership dues of $10 would be appreciated to cover the cost of this site (any extra will be put aside for fun things!!).

Discussion: We use this site to announce Meet Ups (please RSVP here), but have a private facebook page for ongoing discussions/advice-seeking etc. For privacy purposes, you can request to join the facebook page once you've been to at least one meetup and think this is the group for you. Just do a facebook search for the group NEPA Moms Circle and request to be added.
