Met a lot of new people, advanced group ride was nice and long like I like it at 5 hours.....not much actual trail riding, lots of long steep climbs which was great training fun....all in all a fun day out.

Hi Rick, it depends on what ride you go on. the beginner will be about 1 hour or so and intermediate about 2-2 1/2. The expert will be longer. All rides leave from Elk so they have hills.

I'll be working at the Elk Mtn Ski Shop on Saturday and Sunday for their Fall Festival. Sorry I won't be able to join you biking. Stop by and say Hi!

I only have a beach comber bike...are any of the trails basic enough for that?

Since we leave form Elk Mt, there a a lot of hills to tackle before we even get to the trail. Once on the trail your bike would be fine. This is actually a mountain bike ride that does a short stretch on the trail.

@ Johannaroxanne,I don't think any of the trails would work for your bike...even most of the rail trails around here do not have much flat hard packed areas.
