Beginner/Intermediate Hike - Lackawanna State Park

This is a relatively easy 4 to 5 mile hike around Lackawanna Lake located in Lackawanna State Park. The hike should take no more than 2 1/2 hours and there will be plenty of views of the lake, a water fall and signs of spring should be all around. The majority of the hike is relatively flat with little elevation change. We'll meet at the main entrance off of route 407N. Once inside the park we will meet in the first parking lot on your left hand side (the parking lot is visible from 407N). There are restrooms and picnic areas available so bring a lunch for after the hike. The park provides 18 miles of hiking trails, so we could entertain extending the hike after we wrap up the initial hike.

As a transplant and geographically dyslexic soul, I often get lost reaching destinations (meaning I will never lead a group)! Does someone have a phone number to share if I get lost finding this park??

I just joined the group and would love to go but can't make it on such short notice.
