Yoga Walk to Stillwater Cliffs

Studio Be Wellness Center will sponsor a yoga walk to Stillwater Cliffs on September 14th. This will be a medium level hike starting on the D&H Rail Trail. Once at the Cliffs we will be instructed in yoga meditation while talking in the spectacular views!  This hike will start at 12PM so you may want to bring food as well as hiking boots and water.

Truly enjoyable, the trail and the company. I thought it was well organized. Of course, it helped that it was a perfect day weather-wise. Overall I think it was just the right amount of time and yoga for the event. Probably could have gone on longer as it seemed the time flew by.

The meeting point doesn't have an address. It is just north of Forest City on 171 (we call it the yellow gate). So I am meeting people unfamiliar with the trail at Stillwater Dam, which is between Forest City and UnionDale on 171. The dam will be on your left going north. You can't miss it but if you google it you should have not problem getting a pinpoint.

Thank you Deb, I will see you at the Dam. What time were you going to be there? Cheers, Lee

Where, exactly, are we meeting? There's neither an address nor a pinpointed location on the referenced google map.

I drove out there yesterday. A vehicle pullout next to Stillwater Dam is on the left a few miles north of Forest City on Route 171.

Last I was told, several of us will be meeting Deb at the entrance to the dam and then proceed over to the trail. Is this still correct, would anyone know? Thanks.

    Hi Lois,
Can you tell me what specific questions you have about the walk. It's a beautiful hike and there is no charge or membership etc. For people who don't know the area we will meet at Stillwater Dam and car pool a short distance to the start. The Dam is very easy to find (on rt 171) if you Google it. Let me know if you need any info.

You can also call someone there to get more detailed info. If you have any questions, you can email Deb at the Rail Trail office at [masked]. She was a great help. Hope this is of some assistance to you.

Hi, I just signed up as a member and am interested in the Yoga Walk to Stillwater Cliffs. I'm not familiar with the NEPA Trail Mix process yet. Where do people meet? If someone could fill me in on how things work, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
