Enjoyed the show. No wind sock was necessary the huge plume of smoke from the burnout pit works much better. We should have these at more airports. Strange weather showers trying to happen but not quite. I hate rain my plane leaks and the maps get soggy.

This is the 3rd Meetup event I've attended - Since we do not have a system in place to hook up, I've never knowingly me anyone from the group at any of them... Can we make this happen in the future??

Vikki & I attended the EAA Chapter 27 meeting - There was a Great presentation on the symptoms/preventive measures/& expense that one member (Bob) shared after experiencing rust in his engine. The car show was OK with several beautiful homebuilts (RV 10 / Lance-air / Rotorway Exec. We flew the SeaRey in but (even after asking) were directed to park in the /GA parking area far away from the show.. Probably a good thing, since the spectators were not well policed.

Nice show and lots of cool vehicles. Too bad there was not a static display of aircraft but maybe next year.

For all those flying in to KMMK tomorrow PLEASE fly in to the airport as you normally would. We ask that you come to the FBO Terminal bldg on the North side for further instruction. There is "PLENTY" of space available for visiting aircraft. Pilots will then be able to taxi down to the south side of the airport to visit the Carshow display and park. Be sure to have tie-down straps with you as there are none available. Please feel free to Join the EAA Chapter 27 Pilots for their Monthly meeting which begins at 10am at the FBO. Coffee and donuts available. I look forward to meeting you all. Happy Flying!!

Hello Everyone, Looking forward to seeing old faces and meeting new ones. Just to clarify, this is not your "typical" FLY-IN Event. I decided to create a MEETUP opportunity to bring together car enthusiasts and aviators. The Airport is OPEN for normal business hours this day (8am-5), so feel free to come and go as you please.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
