EAA Chapter 146 Fly in Kline Kill Airport - West Ghent NY (NY1)

This in an annual event. Land on this well-groomed grass strip and see some beautiful planes, some large, some small, mostly homebuilt. EAA Chapter 146 puts on a great pancake breakfast (pancakes, sausage, eggs) from 8 AM to noon and a fun time is guaranteed. This is a well attended event. The field is 5 miles NNE of Columbia County (Hudson, NY) 1B1 where there is fuel available. Kline Kill has a 4,000 foot smooth grass strip with plenty of parking. Breakfast for only $6.00: pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, OJ.

Breakfast starts at 8am, but let's meet around 9:30am to give people a chance to fly in from distant airports.  See you in the chow line!

Nice car show with a good band playing a mix with some oldies. Didn't end up seeing other meet up folks at the show.

Adam, yes, let's actually meet up. At exactly 9:30am I will be in front of the breakfast grill and shout out "Calling all Northeast Pilots" Please make yourself known. Also, make the short flight to North Adams (KAQW) for a BBQ at noon - an NEPG after-party

Oops, my bad. The BBQ at North Adams is not happening! I misinterpreted some intel. Nonetheless, I'll be taking roll call promptly at 9:30am by the grills. Please note: The Fly-in really starts at 8am!! 9:30am is just our rendezvous time, so come early if you wish. See y'all on the grass!

Late commerciAl flight from southern Georgia. Too tired and pooped tomorrow, though I still need my pancake fix! Wah wah... :(

I dropped in there last week, the runway is in great shape. It can be hard to spot, with the private airport to the east and beautiful farm field to the west. Of course on fly in days there is plenty of traffic to follow in.
