Do you own a Raspberry Pi?

Have you used an Arduino or other small microcontroller?

Do you program? What languge(s)?

C/C++ mainly. Have used Fortran in the past. Z80/Mot65k/x86 assembler. TMS320 DSP. Matlab and derivatives. Some scripting under Linux/Unix. Little Perl and Pyhton when needed. Some exposure to F#.

Do you build circuits?

On occasion. My background is electronic engineering.

Do you see the Rasberry Pi as (a) a sort of small tablet/mobile computer (b) a headless hardware controller (c) some other wacky thing (d) that's the Big Question, isn't it?

Many things to many people. Whilst part of the motivation of creating it was to inspire kids to program and explore again, I'm sure that it will have other uses. I have read articles about MPI running on Raspberry - it would be interesting the see the results of a cluster.

Hi there! I'm a software engineer that started to learn on the Sinclair ZX-81! The Raspberry seems like a great platform for experimenting. Work wise, I work on large scale parallel simulations in C++ - maybe a cluster of Raspberries is needed!
