Securing Your SQL Server - Thomas Grohser, Bridgewater Associates

During this session we will look security from many angles, starting by defining what our goal is, listing all the threats that might compromise the goal and then discuss the mitigations you can execute to minimize the risk. You will be surprised that the most dangerous threats are outside of SQL Server.

Thanks for organizing last night, and thanks for the free ebook. Who do I need to talk to in order to volunteer for SQL Saturday next year?

When you register for SQL Saturday you can indicate that you would like to volunteer. Paresh Motiwala organizes volunteers for us so I would contact him also.

Hi Nathan, thanks for offering your help. We can use as many as possible. Once we have a go from our boss, Mr. Padilla we'll meet up. and you referred to the ebook. Where is the ebook?

All, please note that the RSVP question IS REQUIRED, even if you have your display name set to your full name, or if you've answered it previously. We need one place to track names, and we need your response every time you RSVP.
