Mount Agamenticus is one of the many Lost Ski Resorts of New England. There still stands traces of the ski slopes and lift systems which are now merely relics. The Mountain Top Lodge though still exists and has been kept open for groups. Mount Agamenticus offers scenic vistas of the Atlantic Ocean and the White Mountains and is a great location to view the Southern Maine Seacoast. There are moderately easy trails which wind their way up the mountain. In the warmer months some of these trails are used by ATV's, Horseback Riders & Mountain Bikers. Our plan is to snowshoe hike to the summit on the
Ring & Witch Hazel trails. Click on the Photo to right to enlarge trail map. For more information about Mount Agamenticus see the link below
Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region Web Site Bring water, snacks and a light lunch for a summit picnic. Also we'll stop on the way home for an early dinner along the Seacoast.
