Squam Lake Paddle

Launch time: 11:30 a.m. from Pipers Cove at the Squam Lakes Association Estimated Return: 5:30 p.m. To launch site Estimated Distance: 12-14 miles This trip is open to sea kayaks 12 ft or longer. Shorter boats will not be able to keep the pace. I've invited paddlers from Champlain Kayak Club to join this paddle, that is why there are only 10 slots.
$5 launch fee, charts available for $5 Unload on the ramp, park in field above the Association building

Lots of fun! Great group from VT and NH. A bit of everything for weather from warm sun to driving wind and rain. 12.3 miles total.

Also, it's good to be on the wait list. Spots always open up, especially when the weather turns a bit nasty. We always still go, but ona rare occasion don't launch. Wind and waves are fun!
