How many years have you been paddling?

18+ in kayaks and canoes some sea but mostly rivers and lakes. After trying out a kayak about 10 years ago I could never convince myself to go back to my canoes.

What type or model kayak/canoe do you own?

2-Current Designs Storm and 1-Aquaterra Scimitar

What other outdoor sports do you enjoy?

Hiking, scuba, wildlife photography

What formal or informal training have you had and what skills? ie Able to do wet exit and re-entry, can do eskimo roll, have taken kayak safety courses

Have taken the informal rescue and paddling techniques classes offered each summer by the group's organizers. I feel comfortable with wet exits and assisted rescues. I have not practiced nor learned the eskimo roll

Based on the Skill Levels on our Web Site About Us What Level kayaker are you?

Level 2c

I am always looking for good people to paddle with and I am an avid photographer so what better way to stay close to nature and meet new people at the same time

What Rick T. is saying about this Meetup Group
