We bought a 14' River Rogue canoe when the kids were small, so we've been paddling for years. We bought our own kayaks a couple years ago, and we're hooked!
We started out with a Tsunami 135 and a Pongo 140. This weekend, we picked up new boats that I'm dying to get in the water - an Eddieline Journey and a Fathom.
golf. My husband also skis.
-EMS full-day strokes & rescues class, and a 1/2 day private seacoast tour last fall. No eskimo rolls yet, but have practiced wet exits and re-entries. Looking to gain sea kayak skills. We're pretty comfortable with basic strokes.
I think we're pretty much level 2 - intermediate paddlers, although we've not had any formal training on navigation.
Hi! I'm Michele and my husband is Paul. This will be our third summer kayaking and I've been in love with the sport since I stepped into my first kayak. Looking forward to making new friends on the water and learning new skills this summer.
