The speaker was good. Maybe we can get him to present at other meetups and elaborate on some of the new features of ASP.NET 4.5.1 and VS 2013

Great meetup, I'm glad I was able to join! As I mentioned at the start of the meeting, we are always looking for great developers to participate in our research studies. If you are interested, visit our participant page: http://userresearchinternational.com/participant-center/

Looking forward to seeing everyone next time!

I enjoyed participating in this event as well and I'd like to see more of these kind of events happening at Microsoft.

Thanks to the speaker and Chris for a good meeting...and pizza. :) Presentation content was very relevant/good, speaker had several examples and did a good job presenting the info. Would like to do a deep dive on entity framework 6 in future session.

Can we meet more frequently and drill down on each of the new features? It seems to me that waiting a month to hear more about it is too long...just some thoughts

There's a lot of new features in this release. The presenter must have had a hard time allocating time to explain each of the features of this version. However I think he did a good job overall. I enjoyed the presentation. The speaker was good and very technically prepared. I wished they've turned the sound a little bit louder as he sometimes spoke too softly. After an overview of all the new features could we perhaps have future presentations that will drill down on each of the new features? Maybe we can have Scott come back and deliver some of them.

I really enjoyed this presenter, MVC5 appears to be mostly focusing on the templates and I was glad to see that they were quick to update the latest projects to Bootstrap 3 and the OWIN Auth makes things very simple.

If there are gaps and a presenter was needed I would love for him to come back and go deeper into some of the EF stuff or even do a dive into the Facebook Nuget package he briefly showed us. He seems very well rounded on all of the new stuff so I would sit in on any topic :)

    Thank you!

Disappointed. Couldn't hear properly. Presenter spoke too softly and trailed off on most sentences.

Little too much time spent on explaining bootstrap to people that ate into time that could have been spent talking about EF or Katana.

watching a few ASP.NET presentations, you can get an impression that Web application consist mostly of authentication, and distinguish in auth type (and styling). It would be great to get to other stuff faster, not by the end of the session. Anyway, good presentation - thanks!

Just realized that. Trying to reach speaker to reschedule

Agreed. Labor Day is not going to be very conducive to attending and will make it hard for many to participate. Any chance of rescheduling the date?

Hard to attend on Labor Day. No chance to reschedule?

I didn't realize this was labor day until right after I signed up. I'll go either way, but wouldn't be disappointed if it was moved :)
