Office 365 is an ideal business application platform providing a core set of services expected in today’s business applications like collaboration, presence and integrated workflows, and a central location for installing, discovering and managing the apps. The Cloud Business App project in Visual Studio 2013 provides a multi-tier web solution for rapid business apps development. It integrates with Office 365 connecting people, documents and data sources. The applications can be deployed to the public or private cloud and provide rich HTML5-based user experiences that run well on multiple form factors. In this one-hour demo-heavy talk,  you will see how to build social, touch-centric, and cross-platform modern business applications and deploy them to the corporate SharePoint store.

Chakkaradeep Chinnakonda Chandran

Program Manager

Friends call me Chaks. I am originally from South India and pursued my Masters in SW Engineering in India. I moved to New Zealand (NZ) in 2007. In my 7 years in NZ, I worked as a developer, solution specialist and joined Microsoft so I can build great products for customers. I have a strong passion for Product Management. I love innovation and believe it is an essential part of product management. Today, I work as a PM for Microsoft with the Visual Studio team. I currently own the Office 365 API tooling developer experience within Visual Studio that helps developers discover and consume Office 365 services in their applications. This involves understanding how developers use Visual Studio and build an intuitive way to consume services. I also assess product opportunities and define the required product experience that allows developers to build cloud applications that connect people, documents & enterprise data to collaborate business processes on modern devices. You can find me tweeting (@chakkaradeep) and blogging at .

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
