Abstract
In recent years, web applications have seen a sharp growth in complexity. JavaScript, once a toy, is now being stretched to create applications on both the client and server in ways it was not originally engineered for. This talk will introduce TypeScript, a way of enabling JavaScript to work better in large teams for building application-scale software. We’ll also talk about some techniques that teams using TypeScript have used to build large applications quickly and more safely.
