Exclusive Dinner At Vita's Rawstaurant

Vita Rawstaurant is the only 100% raw food restaurant in Wisconsin. The food at Vita's is phenomenal and rivals that at any other restaurant I have been to: cooked or raw. And, the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

Sadly, Vita's is no longer open to the public; however, Mary has agreed to open the restaurant for us for an exclusive dinner!

I'm sure those of you who joined us at Vita last March need no convincing to join us again. If you've never been to Vita's, check it out. It will change the way you feel about raw foods.

Here is the menu:

Curry Soup

Tuna Parfait

Spicy Nori Wraps

Cucumber roll with goat cheese (no it's not real goat cheese) w/curry dipping sauce

Cheesecake

UPDATE 1/3/2011:

Italian Pizza has been added to the menu!

Please let me know what you would like before the end of the day Wednesday. Since everything is made with fresh ingredients, Mary will need to get all the ingredients Thursday morning.

Please post a comment letting me know what your menu choices are. Items will be available based on popularity. So if enough people don't order an item, it won't be available. Feel free to request something that is not in the list above. If enough people are interested, Mary may be able to accommodate.

I am so glad I had the opportunity to experience Vita again, and hope to do it again soon. Perhaps a round of introductions before the meal would be nice for the next time. I brought a carnivore friend and he also agreed that the food was delicious and filling, yet didn't leave him feeling disgusting after, like a large traditional meal would.

Lou Ann - From my past experience at Vita's, that would be closer to $50. Should be around $20 each for the two entrees and $7 or so for the soup.

Chanda - Yes, it is pseudo tuna. Everything at Vita's is raw vegan. Only raw fruit, vegetables, nuts & seeds. Sorry for not making that more clear.

  • Chanda D.

Danny, you've mentioned several times that the cheese is not real, but I just wanted to make sure before ordering that the tuna is not raw fish but a pseudo version.

Chanda - Coconut smoothies won't be available because there are no good coconuts this time of year. She will be offering the Italian Pizza if enough people are interested.

Megan - In the past, the main entrees have been around $15-$20 and the cheesecake was $15.

Will the smoothies be available? I had a green one with coconut and it was to die for. I also remember some of the sandwiches to be maddeningly delicious.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
