Hi Everyone, I am writing to get your input about when would be a good time to have a meetup to show everyone how to use the calibrator I purchased for the group. A calibrator makes your monitor show more truly the colors that will be printed. This eliminates "surprises" when you print your images. Have you ever edited your image and thought it looked great on the computer monitor, but when you had the image printed, it didn't look the same? The calibrating software can be downloaded to your computer and then with the equipment we purchased, you can easly calibrate/adjust your monitor. If you have a laptop, you can bring it to a Meetup and we will show you how to do it
We are planning to have a group meetup to calibrate as many monitors as possible before members begin turning it their prints for the group exhibit. We are looking at dates in May or early June, but the calandar so full. We need your input. We need a location and a date that works for as many people as possible. Any suggestion on date or place would be greatly appreciated. We might be able to do it two times if one doesn't work out. Let me hear from you. Look for more to come on this topic. specifically the software to download and the time and place for the meetup.
Thanks Rae Lynn
