This sounds like a great opportunity and a fun time! I am planning to attend. I live in Gresham so it is a short drive for me. I am not in town for the second Saturday, darn.

Hello Ladies, I received this today and it certainly looks interesting. Let me know what you think. Would certainly like to do but we have the Mountainside Lavendar Filed at 8am.
Greetings from Oregon State Parks, in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area!
This Saturday, July 14th, local and regional photographers (amateurs and professionals) will have a unique opportunity to shoot sunrise views from Women’s Forum State Park and Vista House at Crown Point, in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area.
Professional photographer Gary Randall will be on hand to share photography techniques at the Sunrise Photo Walk, starting at 5:00 AM at Women’s Forum. Join us for coffee & donuts along with exchanging information about your Oregon State Parks. The Photo Walk will move to Vista House at Crown Point State Park for the second half.
On Sunday July 22nd the “Photo Showdown” follows. Please bring your favorite 8x10 photo which was taken on July 14th Photo Walk to display
the photo at Vista House on July 22nd at 2:00 PM. A “People’s Choice” and/or group voting may be held. With your permission, your photo may be on display for a longer time at Vista House.
The Photo Walk and Photo Showdown are free of charge, there is no parking or other fee. Please contact Lisa Midlam, Oregon State Parks & Recreation at[masked] ext. 228, or email [address removed] if detailed event questions.
We ask that you forward this information to your photography friends and associates to help share the news. Social media sites are appreciated! This view at sunrise is NOT to be missed!
If you could be interested in volunteering your photography talent and/or aptitude to inspire park visitors by enriching their photography experience in a future photography activity with Oregon State
Parks in the Columbia River Gorge, you may call Lisa Midlam at[masked] ext 228
Wednesday and Thursday out of office. Thank you for sharing your talent with the community~!
