I want to remind you that when we go on photo shoots it is important to be aware of others taking pictures and try to not get in their shots. If someone does get in your shot, try to be patient and just let them know nicely that you are in the middle of a shot. Some of us may get so engrossed in what we are doing that we are not aware of the etiquette of the situation, but I know that no one gets in another person's way on purpose. Consideration, courtesy, and communication should resolve any issues in the future.
Another matter: I am going out of town for a couple of weeks starting Oct. 20th so will not be posting any meetups on my own, but if you have any suggestions and want me to post something and you can be the host/contact person for the meetup, please let me know in the next few days. Donna and Gigi can also post as co-organizers, but we are open to suggestions from all of you. Hosting an event is easy. You are just the contact person in case new people come or in case a member has a question.
In the next month or two when the weather turns rainy, we will be planning some indoor meetups such as sharing meetings, critiques, and workshops. Please stay tuned! Thanks for a wonderful summer of lots of photo shoots and learning opportunities. The fall and winter will be just as exciting!
Thanks in advance
