Hello Ladies, Sharon Lavier O'Keefe has sent me a message to pass on to our group. If you have an opportunity, you may be interested in attending this Exhibit. NANCY ABENS CURIOSITY ENVISIONED EXHIBIT OPENING RECEPTION, FRIDAY, JANUARY 4, 6-9 P.M. I WITNESS GALLERY, 1028 SE WATER AVE., STE. 50, PORTLAND, OR 97214 About the Exhibit
Two years ago, I bought a digital camera that was able to shoot underwater photos. It was during a vacation in Mexico, sticking my camera into tide pools, that I discovered a new world. I saw many strange-looking creatures; feathery and iridescent plant life, beautiful shells and colorful corals. This made me start thinking of the early natural historians who discovered previously unknown species and how thrilling that must have been. Since that time, I decided to focus my photographic work on my interest in natural history.
The Northwest Center for Photography was founded by Sharon Lavier O'Keefe who is a member of our Meetup group.
