Oct 2011: 18 Billion (+) iOS Apps have been downloaded from the Apple App Store, which is just three and a half years.

How about having your paid App be part of this hugely popular download! Come to this Seminar and learn how you too can be part of this excitement.

TENTATIVE AGENDA:

09:30 - 10:30 : Introduction to the world of iOS.

10:30 - 11:30: Create a sample app that demonstrates timers and accelerometers.

11:30 - 12:30: Create a sample app that uses the GPS receiver.

12:30 - 1:00: Lunch break

13:00 - 14:30: Create a sample app that can consume a web service.

14:30 - 15:30: Create a sample app with multiple tabs and multiple views.

15:30 - 16:30: Create sample app that creates a mobile shopping cart.

16:30 - 17:30: The app store financial model and submission process.

DO YOU NEED TO BRING A MAC?

Yes, you should bring your MAC here. This is a hands on class. Also your MAC should be loaded with Xcode.

This meetup is for people interested in learning iPhone and iPad Programming at a competitive price during the weekend (Saturday, Sunday).

Creating Apps with iAd capability.
Creating Apps that use the motion sensors in the devices.
Hardware (accelerometer, touch screen, GPS Receiver, Three axis Gyro, Proximity sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Retina Display, etc).
IPhone OS (Berkley BSD Unix, Core OS & Core Services, Media Layer and Cocoa Touch Layer).
Cocoa Touch (Collection objects, controllers, views, API for access to accelerometer, GPS, photo, etc).
