1st Saturday from Cumming, GA

Brasstown Bald.

My plan is to put together a twisty route that will eventually lead us to Brasstown Bald.

I don't know if the shuttle to the summit will be working so "Chemo Paul" may be leading a hiking expedition to the top.  Once we've seen the view from the summit we will go to the parking area where we will enjoy dogs and burgers provided by Jack and Anita Hunt.

At this point we can decide if we just want to take the long way home or keep riding.

If you haven't RSVP'd yet please do so immediately as this will help Jack and Anita come up with a good idea of how much food to bring.

Look forward to seeing everyone there.

It was very moving to share the wind with the same people who were there at the beginning. Thanks Britman for taking us on another one of your patented rides, to Marion who can park the bike for a year and come out and smoke everyone on her 750 Shadow...and look pretty damn good doing it, and a special thanks to Jack and Anita who took the time and effort to make us a wonderful lunch at the top of the mountain.

    Carpe diem....sieze the day!

    Thanks for the great memories....

It was great seeing everyone (well almost everyone) again. Jack and Anita, thanks for the burgers. Paul, thanks for going up to the top, Britman, thanks for the great back roads (and taking horrible pics of me). All the others: thanks for tolerating me :)

My first "newbie" ride with this group. A really great group of people and good riders, too. I had a good day and am very appreciative of the effort that Jack and Anita went to hauling all the food up there (2-up on a Valkyrie and pulling a trailer? And keeping up? OMG! That's an amazing piece of riding I wouldn't even think of attempting.). I hope to ride with the NGMC again and will be paying my dues to join, even though I doubt that I'll be doing that many of the Canton rides. Good day! Thanks for having me.
