Hello Graphic Design and Marketing Meetup Members!

We would like to announce the Annual Out-of-Home Creative Competition and Event Reception! Anyone can enter this competition and submissions are due by February 20, 2009. Meetup Description:
Annual Out of Home Creative Competition
DATE: Thursday, February 26, 2009
TIME: 5:30PM ? 8:00PM
LOCATION: Park Road Playhouse
COST: $10 Pre-registered Members / $20 Non-Members or at the door / $5

Industry experts will evaluate the entries during the event. We?ll announce a winner at the end of the evening. THE WINNING BILLBOARD WILL
BE ON DISPLAY ON DIGITAL BILLBOARDS IN THE STATE.

Contest Guidelines:
Here's your chance to make up for all of those years of unrecycled bottles
and cans! Use your talents to inspire the community to reduce pollution,
save energy, pick up litter and commit to a greener future.

THE THEME:
Enter your design for a billboard that promotes 'Reducing Your Carbon
Footprint' and you could win one of 3 cash prizes.

THE CONTEST:
Entry is free and you can submit as many entries as you'd like.
Submit all entries by noon on February 20, 2009

YOU MAY ALSO WIN ONE OF THE 3 CASH prizes!

The First Place winner receives $150 cash and has his or her design
displayed on digital billboards in CT. Deadline for entries and
pre-registration is Friday, February 20, 2009.

* 1st place: $150
* 2nd place: $50
* 3rd place: $25

The doors will open at 5:30pm and all of the entries will be on display.
Beer and wine will be free on a first come - first serve basis. Cash
donations will be gratefully accepted.

The Rules:
All entries must be 7? high x 24? wide (Scale ?? = 1?) mounted
on 9? x 26? black mat board. Each entry MUST have a separate
entry form (photocopies ok) secured to the back. Nothing
identifying your studio/agency should appear on the front.

* Any graphic images (photo or illustration) must be purchased and paid
for by the contestant. It must be available for use on digital billboards at
no cost to The Advertising Club of CT.
* All entries must be created solely for this competition and cannot
promote any specific organization/brand.
* Single billboards only, no campaigns accepted.
