Outdoor Music Meetup In Roosevelt Park

  • Jun 30, 2013 · 2:00 PM
  • Roosevelt Park

The fun continues!!! Come play some great acoustic music outside at Roosevelt Park in Edison.

Click Here to see a map of the park

Take Rt. 1 to Parsonage Rd. Take Parsonage Rd. to the second light and turn left at Oakwood Ave. onto Roosevelt Dr.  The first right is the entrance to the lake, across from Roosevelt Care Center. The lot is there as well as parking around past the lake.  There are tables and grass. If it rains, then the gazebo.

Restrooms are there.  You can bring food, beverages, and a chair.

NO amps please

Have some songs ready that you would like to do. They don't have to be in the njamp files.

I had a great time at my very first meetup with any group. Thanks to all of you for making me feel welcome - I'm looking forward to the next one!

I am interested in other chances to add my saw to any get-togethers, including more extensive playing. With a busy theater and church schedule, those closest to me (Jamesburg) are the most possible.

It was fun. I found a few new people for my weekly jam group AND I got to play the saw.

We had fun as usual and saw a lot of new faces! Welcome to all who were in attendance for the first time! Some non-guitar instruments that were there were a musical saw, an acoustic bass guitar, a saxophone and a harmonica...very cool. : ) For new people especially, please try to bring one or two songs with at least 3 or 4 copies for others so we can all join in! We encourage you to play songs you are like and are familiar with.

Couldn't make it today because I was playing at my church's annual picnic, with 5 other NJAMPers. We got half a set done before the rain hit. Glad to see that you were able to keep dry and have a good afternoon in the park. I hope I'll be able to join you for the next one.

What an awesome group. Nothing I like better than good music and being outdoors in nice weather. Cant wait to meet everyone.

After finding you, my schedule kept me away from a couple of the outdoor meetups last summer, and weather another. Really looking forward to attending my first meetup and adding my musical saw to the mix!
