Ice's Picks at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse in Metuchen

Inaugural picks: Been There Done That  ($5 cover, kids 12 and under free, snacks & refreshments available)

Come join us for the first Ice’s Picks at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse in Metuchen. Ice’s Picks shows features many NJAMP musicians. Our inaugural picks are Been There Done That (John Montalbano, Rich Volk, Dave Harrison and Dave Barkovitch). Plus, musicians Darryl Clark and Steve Lerner from Robin’s Nest, AND Carolyn Borger!

We are SO excited about this new venue. Please come and support your fellow NJAMPers so we can have continued bookings here. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of the schoolhouse community. They are already building a music scene for Metuchen.

A very exciting night for NJAMP indeed. Don't miss it!

Maybe we can make it a group thing (with wine!). I have to show you my computer. Oh, maybe wine not a good element to introduce to "thinking" get togethers.

Many thanks to all who came down and made the evening a special event. "Picks" you were all awesome! Good song selections BTDT. Rich and John you shined tonight. Harrison, now we know just how multi-talented you are. Carolyn, as lovely as always. :) A shout out to Darryl (wow! is an understatement) and Steve (for keeping us together). Special thanks to Alan on sound. We're nothing without Alan . . . and Bark, I could not have done this without you. You da guitar God Bark!

I am happy to announce we've been asked back and Ice's Picks is now in rotation at the Schoolhouse. Nice job everyone! Thanks for all your hard work. :)

Note the edits. Forgot to mention there is a $5 cover. You can bring the kids!!! Show will end around 9:15. As for alcohol, at one of their shows they were selling wine and beer, at another it seemed to be free in the kitchen. So the answer is " I don't know."
