Acoustic Music Meetup @Mannion's

The fun continues!!!

Join us for another acoustic jam at Mannion's. This is an inclusive jam, not an open mic. Members are encouraged to sing and play along the entire night.

We will be meeting on the ground floor in the side room. Look for the folks with the musical instruments.

Mannion's serves delicious food and has a nice selection of beers. Most of us take a dinner break around 7:30. After dinner, we play until they kick us out--usually around 11. Please bring cash to pay for your dinner and drinks.

There is an evolving setlist for this meetup--see the link in the left-hand column of our site. We usually get through all of the requests, most of our "semi-permantant" songs, plus about 20 more songs out of the over five hundred or so songs in our files.

If you would like to add a song to the setlist, make sure it is posted to our site in the "Files" section (see the link in the left-hand column of the site), then post your request in the "get the conversation started" section below.

Another fun night at Mannion's! A slightly smaller crowd, and fewer pre-meetup requests meant than just almost everyone who wanted to got to request a song. Bob Cole, we still did "Happy X-Mas" and "In My Life" for John in your absence. Both Wendy and I had fun playing Ken's baritone banjo-uke.

Time to get in the holiday mood! My requests: "Christmas Must Be Tonight", "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!", and "While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks".

How about a couple songs about influential women this week:
    "Ruby Tuesday" and "Maggie May"

For the setlist this week, could we do "Imagine", "In My Life", and "So This Is Christmas"? For John.

Check out new version of "Image" just uploaded. If you're using an unRealbook on your iPad, delete your older versions.
