NJAMP (Post) Holiday Showcase at Ferraro's

It's NJAMP's first annual Holiday Showcase Night at Ferraro's!

Lets send out  the holidays together in a way we all LOVE...MUSIC...

At Holiday Showcase we are having 9 different groups made up of assorted NJAMP members. This is an opportunity for even more NJAMPers to show their talents.

The nights lineup is:

1• Joe H. & Friends

2• GirlJam (Beth B., Susie D., Cecilia D. & Vicki S.)

3• Off The Grid (Alan Z., Fil W., Paul G. & Joe B.)

      with Special Guest Bob C.

4• Bill H. and Lane G.

5• Carolyn B., Ice and friends

6• Ice's Picks

7• Been There Done That (John M., Rich V. Dave H. and Electric Dave)

8• Bob Graham and friends

9• Gary O. and friends...with accompaniment from various NJAMP members.

This is our fifth NJAMP Showcase Night.  The first four were very successful and lots of fun. We hope to have nights like this on a regular basis at the various NJAMP meetup locations.  At each of these Showcase events we will be featuring different NJAMP members.  If the venues are happy with the crowds we draw, we will get more opportunities to showcase the talent we have in NJAMP.  So bring yourselves, bring your families, and enjoy great food, drink and a night of quality music performed by your friends!

Ferraro's has great pizza, a full Italian menu and full bar, with reasonable prices. Support your fellow NJAMPers--come on out to see and hear several talented NJAMP acts entertain in the bar area at Ferraro's.

WOW! Due to holiday scheduling conflicts our only practice since our church social gig was at 530 Sat night and we (The Last Minute Band) were all disappointed we missed the first couple of sets. Thank you Mike and Judy for posting all the pics and videos. Thanks to you we were able to enjoy the sets we missed. Great job to all involved. It truly is a pleasure to be a member of NJAMP.

Didn't say enuf the first time around! Dudes and dudettes, that was an NJAMP-acular! The quality just gets better and better, the sound was wonderful, the input from Jim and Alan and Rich and everyone else was completely over-the-top, and I can't tell you how it feels to hear your friends lay down performances like that; it's like you need to run around and collect autographs!! (mmm, well, I bet I'm probably not the only one who felt like that!) Those of us who missed it, sorry you missed it! It was probably worth good money to see, man! Yeah, there might have been some gremlins; there are always gremlins; you guys just ran 'em over! What a high to be able to perform/hear you all! (I Hear Them All?). Like Dave sez; rock on! (or folk on; it's all in the point of view!).

Absolutely amazing! Oh, what a night! (Sounds like a good song title)

Great job, folks! Jim, thanks for organizing it all and keeping everything on schedule. Alan, thanks for the sound system. Rich, thanks for running the sound. There were a lot of gremlins, but you manged to work through most of them--not an easy talk with such a "live" room and so many acts. Special thanks to those who stayed for the whole thing and those that helped break down and carry out the equipment at the end of the night. Great to see NJAMPers shine!

A great night. Thanks to everyrone who came early to help set up, and to support the opening acts, even if your band didn't go on till much later in the evening.

Man Oh Man, Best time I've ever had. I am very grateful to Ferraro's for hosting, Jim for setting this up and managing everything so well, Alan for providing the sound and Rich for helping to run it.
OMG ( I'm over 50; am I allowed to say that? LOL :)) So many very talented musicians involved! Ladies and Gentleman, I take my hat off to you all!!
Thanks so much to all the NJAMPers who came out to support all the groups with your presence and applauds.
To the NJAMP family members and friends who came out: A special THANK YOU on behalf of all the musicians. Your love and support of them and their passion is more appreciated than you may realize.
    Can't wait for the next one; until then;
Rock on; into the night. hmm, where have I heard that before?

AMAZING!!! I Always knew there was a ton of talent in this group, but last night I realized how much!!! There were many in the show that I have heard do solo's at Mannion's , and knew they were good, but their were a few in the show last night that I never knew were SO talented. The sleepers in our crowd! WOW! What a bunch of talented musicians!! Jim you did a GREAT job of organizing the show! Thank you all for a great night!!(pictures and video will be coming soon)

Wow. Some really, really terrific performances by everybody. I thoroughly enjoyed every set of every group. Fantastic job. And a whole lot of thanks to Jim for making this happen.

I also had one or two surprises. I knew everybody was talented, but I didn't know they were *that* talented. Way to raise the bar W-A-Y up high everybody!! Judy and I took a TON of pictures and videos. We're going to post them a little later.

My family and friends really enjoyed themselves. Rich did a great job being the sound man, and thanks Alan for the sound system! Can't wait for the next one!!

If you don't have other plans for Saturday, come on out and among other things support the host of one of our regular meetups (Ferraro's Pizza). Without these venues, we will be playing at best with just a few others in our own living rooms. Come hungry and thirsty, bring a friend, treat your server generously and get home safely. Sign in now so that Frank makes enough Lasagna for everyone :)

The snow storm event was a great sneak preview of this Showcase. Well worth sliding to Ferraro's. Should be a lot of good stuff on January 4th.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
