Amazon Web Services Summit 2014: NYC

I'm personally planning on going to this event and wanted to see if anyone else from the group is interested in joining:

The keynote will be given by Amazon CTO, Werner Vogels.

They say the event sold out last year, so I would recommend signing up soon if you plan on going.  It's a pretty fantastic value at $0, as many events like this usually come with a pretty hefty price tag.

Ok, Igor and I are here. We registered, and we're one level up at Starbucks. It's currently 8:50.

Ok, so I'm personally going to try to arrive as early as possible, especially since I've now heard things through Amazon emails like:

"We're looking forward to having you join us at our Summit in New York this week. Please arrive early to this first-come, first-served event as we're expecting a full house." I'm targeting an 8:30 arrival. If anyone would like to try to meet up with the group, I'd say the best bet will be to keep an eye on updates right here, and if you really can't find anyone then text me at[masked] or Google chat me at [masked].

Ok, I also wore my yellow IO Extended pants for your benefit as well. I'm hoping I'll be the one corn row'd, yellow pants and green t-shirt guy.

So if you signed up, you should have received an email alert instructing you (if you so choose), to register for one of the after parties. I'm planning on going to the one that has many Amazon employees, and the Top Chef Season 3 winner:

I just wanted to remind everyone again that you need to make sure to get your ticket at the site listed in the details of this event. Also, if you try to register and it's sold out or something like that, let me know, as I might be able to pull a string or two. I have some friends over there who might still have a number of tickets available. We should also figure out a way to meet up during the course of the event. Not sure of the best method at the moment, but I'm definitely open to suggestions.
