The meeting spot will be in the parking lot opposite the visitors center at 3:15 P.M. I will arrive approximately 15 minutes early prior to the hike.
This hike will be at a fast pace with stops in between to allow the group to stay together. It is recommended that light snacks be brought along as we will be stopping at the lake to watch the sunset. Also a camera may be a nice addition to bring for the view of greenwood lake at sunset.
Hiking Boots are a must for this hike and also be prepared for colder weather and dress appropriately as you will be exposed to the elements for approx. 3 hrs pending on travel time. Another necessity is a Head lamp. Anybody without a flashlight or headlamp will be turned away as there will be a greater risk for injury. Also canine companions are welcomed but just be aware we will be hiking at NIGHT so it may be harder to keep track of your pets and the trail.
I will email my number to those who RSVP prior to the event, in case there are any questions or concerns.
*Hike will be cancelled in the event of poor weather*
Hope to see you soon.
