Good Day!

It's that time of year again to venture to one of my favorite places. This Labor Day weekend on Sat. Aug. 31st is "Pirate Day" at the NY Ren Faire! ARR ;-) So get your eyepatch & pirate hat on and join us in the Fun!

The NY Ren. Faire is a rollicking romp through Elizabethan England complete with 16th Century games, rides, arts, crafts, food, music, dance, shows, all kinds of entertainment like jousting, birds of pray and soo much more....
For more info., visit: http://www.renfair.com/ny/

It's also one of the few places that allow you to walk around drinking beer, wine or mead! "Just saying"

Tickets per adult:
At the door: $22.00
On-line: $20.00
Walgreens or join their mailing list: $18.00

I like to dress up but it's certainty not required. Feel free to do so if your up for it.
You can rent a costume "garb" there, at a shoppe called "The Bellrose" inside the Faire near the information booth.

Rain Date: TBA

Coming from NYC: There's a Bus that will take you directly from Port Authority to the Front Gate of the Ren. Faire. For more details: http://www.renfair.com/ny/directions/BusfromNYC.asp

**If driving, Please allow yourself at least an extra 30min. for parking traffic, walking up to the gate or taking the shuttle & waiting in line. It's about a 10min. walk through the woods depending which lot you park in. Follow the path to your left, uphill.
We'll meet just inside the gate at 11:30am. I'll be holding our "Out & About" sign.

Please feel free to contact those going that live in your area or on the way & ask  if they'd like to car pool if your comfortable with it.

We can decide when we get together what we'd like to see & do together or in smaller groups etc. Don't forget to grab a map & schedule at the ticket booth or gate :-)
I usually stay till the end, 6-6:30pm but of course feel free to leave at anytime.

Afterwords: If anyone's interested, I usually stop at: Rhodes North Tavern for dinner (on the way home): http://www.rhodesnorth.com/

Melanie and I are here. We're standing just past the gates on the left by a big white sign.

    Good morning everyone,

Unfortunately I could not find my infamous "Out & About" sign. So, you can find me by my outfit. I'll be wearing a purple gypsy outfit. My number in-case:[masked]

    See you soon! :-)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
