Native American Pow Wow /Festival-Bear Mt. NY

Have you ever been to a Native American Pow Wow ? Well nows your chance!
Hosted by the Redhawk Native American  Arts Council

Redhawk hosts four of the largest Native American Pow Wows in New York and New Jersey. Come and enjoy Native American food, music, dance, crafts, art, story telling and more!

Price: $12 Adults & Teens, $7 Children 6-12 years old & Seniors 65+
Free for Children 5 years old and under; $8 Parking

*We can car pool if you'd like to save on parking & gas. If your comfortable with it, please enter a comment with your RSVP If your interested in giving or need a ride & which area your from. Others can then e-mail you directly through the site for details. I'll be coming from the Montclair area If anyone needs a lift.

The Festival Runs: Saturday 11am – 8pm, Sunday 11am – 7pm 
Grand Entry of Dancers at 1pm and 4pm

  • Limited seating available so you’re welcome to bring your own chairs and/or Umbrellas.
  • Redhawk Pow Wows are Rain or Shine outdoor events therefore no refunds will be given.
  • No alcohol or drugs, no outside food, drinks, ice or coolers will be allowed on the premises.

I would suggest wearing sunscreen & a hat, especially if your fair like me. We'll be in an open area.

Rain Date: We can try again the following day (Sun. 8/5) same time.

**We"ll meet just inside the entrance after you purchase your ticket for the Pow-wow. Please allow yourself at least an extra 15-30min. for parking. There will be parking traffic heading into the grounds.
