Free Coffee & Discuss your business methods.

  • This location is shown only to members

New members are always welcomed - After you join, please make sure you RSVP early so we can reserve a seat for you.

We discuss current business methods at the meetings . If you want to share an method with the group, so they have "time to think about it." Please email me and I'll include your issue/concern with my weekly email address to the entire meetup group, not just this weeks attendees.

The basic agenda is...

09:30 to 09:50 Networking

09:50 to 10:10 Introductions

10:10 to 11:30 Current Business Methods

11:30 and on.... Open and Individual Networking

Be ready to discuss your business and be open to hear some new ideas/criticism that will require you to look at yourself/your business differently.

Most people take a few notes, so some paper would be good.

Best Regards,
Steve Navazio

It was wonderful to meet you all! I got some good takeaways about networking and framing myself and it was interesting to see how my methods compare to other industries. To follow up on my little contribution before I end, I am adherent to the Granum system, aka the One Card System. As I mentioned, it's based off a highly detailed 25-year study of the most successful agents in Al Granum's office. He was a Northwestern Mutual guy, one of the best producers ever, and he took his system and sold it to all the other companies. It is from Granum's data that the entire financial services industry gets the[masked] ratio, or the 80-20 rule or any other derivative of that. It focuses on figuring out what activities are ultimately revenue-generating and how much of them you have to do to reach your new client goal. I didn't really believe it at first, but it's freakishly predictive of your performance and I swear to it now. The[masked] system applies to many non-financial industries too.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
