Our monthly Linux User Group MeetUp....

Please join us at our monthly evening meeting where our members help one another improve each other's enterprise, projects, computers etc.

Though we're primarily a Linux group, all operating systems are welcome (even that Wimpdows one) as our members have Macs, iPads, iPhones, and SmartPhones as well as Linux Desktops/Laptops - so we're a great Q & A resource..

Even without an official presentation we had a good 'meeting of the minds' with lots of discussions on interesting topics.

    Amgad:
I don't have an Air, but I do have Ubuntu running on my MacBook. There are a number of issues that I can help you with at the meeting.

Hey guys, anyone with experience in installing Ubuntu (or any Debian based distro) on MacBook Air? am new to macs, and need to install any linux distro on my MacAir, but have two problem, a) don't have much experience with Apple products, b) I don't have the external disc drive thingy.

Would any wizard out here be able to help with my problem in the next meeting?
    Thanks!
