Six Ways to Build a Happy Life
Buddha taught six practices that can easily be incorporated into our busy modern daily life. Not only will they help us to deal skillfully with problems with a positive, peaceful and happy mind, they will also empower us to benefit others greatly. Engaging in these practices will give us the skill to make our job, relationships and enjoyments part of our path to permanent lasting inner peace.
These drop-in classes, suitable for everyone, from beginners to experienced meditators, help us discover the profound benefits of engaging in meditation. Each session contains two guided meditations, a talk, and time for questions.
Classes are self-contained so you can drop in any week.

Craig Nicol is a student on the Foundation Program offered by Dharmapala Kadampa Buddhist Center in Roanoke, VA. He has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for several years. Craig brings to his classes modern day examples with emphasis on balancing the busyness of work and life with genuine spiritual practice. He lives and works in Richmond.
