I'm going to Georgia in late August for a month, but am looking for a couple of other people that would like to go hiking in the Caucus mountains (the Svaneti region specifically) for around 8 days with a couple of days in Tbilisi and one or two other places. It would be around 12-13 days all up if you would like to join me for this part of the trip.
I have to be in Armenia on the 6th September to begin a tour, which I've already paid for so am definitely going. I haven't booked flights yet, but am looking to fly out around 24th August. Flights are around 400 euros return. It's pretty cheap there so costs won't be high and would likely be staying in guest houses/home stays.
Anyway, if anyone is interested get in touch, I'm not looking to do super long walks, or any technical climbs, mostly I'm interested in photography and getting out into some mountain scenery.
I'm only wanting a few people to join maximum, and should be fairly easy going and be responsible for your own travel. It's quite safe there, and is becoming more popular every year...It's changing fast though which is why I want to do it now.
