@ Miruna: yes, just change your rsvp into "plus one guest :). @ All: if plans have changed, than please change the RSVP too :). The first part of this route is out in the open, inside Amsterdam there's more shadow here and there. Please don't forget to take and upload pictures :) Enjoy.

@ Steve: I think around 8 kms @ allI don't think this comes as a suprise but... IET GIET OAN!!! :) Get ready for a TROPICAL Drophike. There is a lot of shadow on this walk, plus the sun will shine only 90% of the time :). PS: PLEASE change your RSVP in a 100% CLEAR "Yes" or "No", thanks in advance :)

Hi Barar, thanks for the nice words :) Hi all, the Weatherforecast: around 21 degrees in the afternoon, 40% chance on sunshine and 65% chance on rain. Close, but not good enough for a drophike. The call will be made on Friday. Postponing to August 19 is possible. http://teletekst.nos.nl/ ( page 704 )

Hi Prashant, The info about the meeting point is in the event text. Info about how to get there will be made more specific later on, but please put trust in the locals and long term residentials, or expats that are already here for some time. They will get you there. GVB doesnt drive to Watergang. Just ask the people at the meeting point what you need, there are machines that will get you your public transport ticket all over the place at the central station. Enjoy this meetup :)

Hello friends...i am from Toronto & visiting Amsterdam next week for my 2 week vacation. I plan to meet some local friends and have this wonderful hike with you all.
Quick question - So are we meeting at watergang? what is the exact address and easiest way to reach there by public transport? Should i be checking on GVB's website for schedule? Any help to this visitor to your town will be greatly appreciated. see you all soon.
