Wintersport here we come again!

It's that time again when the summer nearly over my thoughts turn to Winter :-)

Check out last years event.

Where. Somewhere in France - most likely Val Thorens for a few reasons.

  • The highest resort in the French Alps sits at 2300m and has guarenteed snow.
  • There are over 600km of slopes with 330 runs catering for complete beginers to super advanced.
  • It's possible to ski/board to and from your chalet.
  • The price is usually unbeatable.

The accommodation will be basic but who cares when the snow is so good.

Expected costs are:

400 to 500 euro for Accom + 6 day Lift pass.
200 euro for transport. (incl petrol, winter tyres, toll charges)

This calculation includes all the hidden costs (discovered during last years trip) - the final amount may depend on how soon we book and the availability of transport but this should be pretty accurate.   For transport *I* am planning to drive but train tkts are available on the Thalys from Amsterdam CS.

I'm going to be booking the accomodation SOON before the prices go up, so if you're coming don't delay in letting me know.

This event is in collaboration with the AmsterdamClimbers.com

If you do want to go RSVP yes and answer the questions.

Don't delay - the longer you wait the more expensive it becomes.

Had a great time dancing at Le Folie Douche, dancing at Malaysia, sharing drinks/laughs with some new friends, and enjoying the majestic scenery of the French Alps. Oh, and there was also time to carve up some pow.

Thanks Dan for organizing and hopefully will see everyone again next year.

Sorry everyone. we have 28 people coming, the accom is all booked - the transport is arranged. It's going to be too late to join in.

Next year I'll sort out another one.

Is it too late to join this trip? It would be for 2 people.

Would love to join you guys but it all depends on how my leg feels during the opening of the season next month. Any indication regarding the level of the skiers/boarders? I'm an avid, would love to do some back country boarding as well.

We have 16 people coming already. Some more interested.

If anyone else is interested now is the time before all the cheap accom goes.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
