I'm not sure if this reaches everybody but hopefully it does so we can get rides sorted out.
It sounds like there are 7(or 8?) people in total going.
1. Stejay Stephen-John Rado (Host) [address removed]
2. Venkat (Organizer) [address removed]
6. Kevin Whitley (myself) [address removed]
7. Gaurav? (did not see this one on the meetup page) [address removed]
8. Sanjay Blue (saw comments from him on the site but not listed as attending?)
It sounds like Venkat is taking himself and three people in his car from Amsterdam area.
So the remaining three(or four?) of us (Stejay, Coco, Sanjay, and myself(Kevin)) need to sort out a ride. I do not have a car, but will be leaving from work Thursday from the Amsterdam area. Does anyone know if Coco or Sanjay has a car they are willing to take? or are the two(or three) of us going to need to travel by train or something down to Eindhoven to meet up with Stejay and his car? If anyone has emails to the rest of the group could you forward this on so we can get rides and total numbers figured out?

Hope everyone glad to be on a weekend as much as i am, its been a very long week but just think this time next week we should all be sipping a beer after a lovely day in the fresh air. Just want to touch base with everyone get it all sorted for next week
the amount of people:
We have a nice number of 7 going, the bookings are now closed I have paid for the accommodation. I will collect the rest of the money for this on the weekend no need to transfer now, total came up to 450 so if you havent worked it out yet means everyone still needs to pay 16.66 (rather cheap!).
weather and agenda
I am thinking slow start on friday due to all the driving on thursday. maybe we can climb up to the top of Roc de Fer at 2290m if we get up there quick enough can go down into Meribel down the Olympic downhill track then head back over Cherferie 2100m. otherwise we can all to the la croisée which is on the other side of town and little less traveled as there no ski lift ect there, we can then hike along the ridge grab the gondala back down and walk along the river or get a bus back to St Martin. or we could do both.....
checking online they offer something called a multi activity card which includes lift passes and a whole load of other things for 19 euro per day something to look at when we are there.
Weather seems alright, hard to call it so far away but sure itll be fine.
Been a bit confusing on this front think everyone is now sorted? If you still dont have a lift please email me ASAP! I on the otherhand seem to be the weak link being the only one leaving from my area of Netherlands, and was wondering if there still space in any of the cars? As driving by myself is boring and expensive.
Just a quick word on this, please please please have good boots with you if you pack nothing else pack good boots. other things i would say are needed is a waterproof jacket, sunscreen, water and a backpack. other things you might want is:
you all adults so im sure you can look after yourselves.
- warm top
- hiking or waterproof trousers
- firstaid kit
- energy bars
Anyway looking forward to meeting everyone on Thursday and have a good week till then
