The Dunwells perform for Zoo Music 2013. The Dunwells are a British folk rock band formed in Leeds, Yorkshire, England in 2009. The group consists of Joseph Dunwell (vocals, guitar), David Dunwell (vocals, guitars, piano, banjo), Jonny Lamb (vocals, drums), Rob Clayton (bass, vocals), and Dave Hanson (lead guitar, vocals, pedal steel). The Dunwells released their debut single, "I Could Be a King" in 2011, and their debut album Blind Sighted Faith in early 2012.
For nearly two decades, the Zoo has entertained visitors during summer months with the Zoo Music Concert Series. Zoo Music showcases regional, national and international talent playing a variety of music, including country Latin rock, Afro-Cuban, Celtic, bluegrass, Cajun and pop-rock.
General lawn seating -- capacity of about 4,500 people. Concerts may be affected by rain.
Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. Picnics are welcome. Do not bring glass containers or alcoholic beverages into the park. Food, beer and wine are available for purchase.
Doors open at 6 pm and the concert begins at 7:30 pm. Animals are on exhibit until 8:00 pm.
$10 adults; $5 seniors (65+); $3 children (3-12). Children two and younger are free.
