Novembers Self-Assignment

The assignment for November is: Birds

Each month I will post a self-assignments that you can use to kick start your own creative juices flowing. These will be designed to help us improve our skills and become more well-rounded photographer's, while helping us build our portfolio's at the same time. Some months we will have a group meet-up, or a workshop on the subject. The ideal is to get out of our comfort zone and think a little differently.

Of course November has to be for the Birds, with all the migrating birds heading south and the Festival of Cranes (more info here: http://www.festivalofthecranes.com/).

Guidelines:

Your photo's are to be taken during the month of the assignment.

You must have fun and smile.

You should challenge yourself.

Question of the day. How many of you do prepossessing? If you do any, what do you use (Photoshop, Lightroom, Gimp, Aperture, Other)? Just post your reply in the comments section.

    Thanks

I use Picasa 3. It's a free download and has lots of "help" from cropping, straightening, auto color adjust (don't like that one!) etc.. It also has some fun elements!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
