About 2009 New 'N Town - People, Places and Possibilities !

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. Myself, Dawn & Sarah will be organizing the NNT group.

I am a transplant from Indiana. I have lived in Texas for a little over a year now. I want to get out and about and explore, and on the flip-side of that, I want to have a great group of friends that get together for cards, videos, pot-luck dinners and the like.

My goal is to find fun, BUDGET MINDED things to do, see, and explore in the area, and some weekend day trips thrown in there too. I'd like to see recurring comedy night, euchre night, movie night, happy hour & dinner, and activities that promote the idea of being a tourist in our own backyards, such as, museums, gardens, zoos. I'd like to include a family friendly event, and my favorite, ROAD TRIP!

We also enjoy Karaoke Night, and I personally strive to be as good as this couple!



I don't mind being known as the discount queen, I admit, I am a frugal girl. I love my dining coupons, the Star Telegram press pass discounts, club member discounts, and any other ways to save money when getting out and about!

So, bring on your ideas, suggestions, and coupons! We are ready to get this party started!
