The original Not Oprah Approved Book Club!

Since 2008, we have been reading Oprah shunned books and we would love you to join us!

Our meetings and members are quite laid back. If you don't like a book, you don't have to finish it (please give it a try though - first chapter or even first few pages). The meetings are half talking about the book and half catching up with each other. New people are always welcome!

Members select books as a group at each meeting. We want your book suggestions.

Any type of book is welcome, as long as it isn't on the dreaded Oprah book club list.

We trend towards fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, thrillers, satire, smut, vampires and zombies. If you’d like to see what we have read, the cover of each book is in our picture area.
