Well, some books I've enjoyed and would recommend (and would read again)...

*The King Killer Chronicles - by Patrick Rothfuss (3rd book comes out in 2013 *sad face*)
*The Farseer Trilogy (and the Twany Man Trilogy) - by Robin Hobb
The Black Magician's Trilogy - by Trudi Canavan
Mistborn - by Brandon Sanderson
Queen of the Orcs - by Morgan Howell (much, much better than I expected)
The Crystal Cave - by Mary Stewart (about Merlin with a twist.)
The Fallen - by Thomas E. Sniegoski (yay angels!)
The Spellsong Cycle - by L. E. Modesitt, Jr. (a world where music holds power)
Codex Alera - by Jim Butcher (haven't finished the series yet)
The Dresdin Files - also by Jim Butcher (awesome if you can get through the first 2 books)
Sandman Slim - by Richard Kadrey (currently reading)
Winds of the Forelands - David B. Coe (First book was really good. Reading the second.)
The Lies of Locke Lamora - by Scott Lynch (currently reading)

*My absolute favorite books ever, ever, ever.

Standalone Novels: (I have only a few of these. I'm a diehard trilogy reader.)
Elantris by Brandon Sanderson (this book was really amazing.)
House of the Scorpion - Nancy Farmer (little out of place on this list, but still one of my old faves)
The Last Unicorn - Peter S. Beagle (currently reading)
